Sanjna Urval is a communications designer with a background in blue-green infrastructure, nature-based solutions, placemaking, and collaborative community planning. She is committed to sustainable development and social well-being, combining spatial and graphic design skills with a strong belief in research and design as catalysts for meaningful social, environmental, and economic change.
At the Canadian Urban Institute, she serves as the Communications Support Manager, contributing to the organization’s communications and program delivery. She supports the development and execution of strategic communications across key initiatives, including My Main Street and the State of Canada’s Cities Summit, while working closely with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging, broaden program reach, and highlight the impact of CUI’s work.
