Kiera is dedicated to supporting and fostering place-based climate adaptation and disaster risk reduction for rural and remote communities. As a Portfolio Manager for the Climate Ready Infrastructure Service she brings her life experiences working and living in rural and island communities on the west coast of Canada and her experiences working on climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction research for community health and health services. Kiera holds an BA in Environmental Geography and an MSc in Health Sciences with a focus on disaster risk reduction and eco-social health for rural communities.
