Ananmay is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto, where he completed an undergraduate degree in Human Geography, Computer Science and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
He has a strong interest in the intersection of technology and urban environments, especially in using GIS and spatial analysis techniques. He has previously interned at The Bentway and at ESRI India.
In addition, he has worked on research at the Environmental Data Justice Lab at the University of Toronto tracking pollution and data colonialism in Canada’s Chemical Valley and their impact on the Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
What is your favourite way to spend a day in the city?
