One of the 3 priority areas for 2021-22 identified by the NHC includes an analysis on NHS Programs and how effectively they are addressing core housing need and homelessness.  The working group on Improving the NHS is undertaking a review of programs under the NHS to identify gaps and areas for improvement. Insights derived from this engagement work will inform the report the NHC will prepare with recommendations to the Minister. The Report is expected to be published during the summer.

The NHC has contracted the Canadian Urban Institute to undertake a series of stakeholder and subject matter expert engagements to gather insights and identify solutions to improve the NHS Programs. This survey is part of this engagement process and your opinion, ideas, and solutions will be key to the NHC analysis and its recommendations to the Minister.
