Ruzanna is a financial management and business operations professional who comes to CUI with over two decades of experience in Armenia, the United States and Canada.
The Freedom Support Act graduate fellowship led her to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), where she oversaw the financial and administrative compliance aspects of the US technical assistance program supporting economic growth, energy security, and social sector reforms in Armenia. She managed large-scale health research awards at Canada’s top research hospitals, effectively engaging researchers in financial and business processes. More recently, at the Mozilla Foundation, the non-profit behind the Firefox web browser, Ruzanna was a senior adviser to the leadership, responsible for the overall financial management, including external awards and various programs and initiatives, such as fellowships, the annual festival, and the Internet Health Report.
Ruzanna is excited to build organizational systems and processes to support CUI’s growth, making it well-positioned to not only meet the challenges posed by the pandemic, but to also seize the opportunities to amplify its impact in building strong thriving cities.
