Rupal is an experienced and inventive cultural manager with over 15 years of experience leading, supporting and collaborating with artists and communities. Most recently, she managed funding programs and strategic partnerships at Toronto Arts Council, leading the launch of the Newcomer and Refugee Artist Mentorship, a unique granting program supporting the artistic and career development of artists new to Canada. Previously, she supported Canadian theatre artists and performance creators through leadership roles at Nightswimming, Obsidian Theatre and Summerworks Performance Festival. She is a 2019 CivicAction DiverseCity Fellow and a 2020 Banff Forum Delegate. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto.
