Ideshini Naidoo is a technology executive whose life’s work has been rooted in one unwavering purpose: to serve humanity by building systems that create equity, access, and hope. Her journey began in one of Africa’s largest trauma units, where she helped build and commission the world’s first digital X-ray machine—a breakthrough that brought speed, safety and affordability to life-saving care. From there, she helped design Africa’s first healthcare B2B switch to make medical access more affordable. Drawn to the transformative potential of financial inclusion, she led award-winning digital banking platforms across Africa as CIO of FNB Corporate Bank and Head of Electronic Banking at Barclays Africa—unlocking tools for commerce and security where it was most needed. Later, as CTO of Wave Financial, she helped micro-businesses—so often the lifeblood of underserved communities—succeed through accessible, intelligent financial technology. The work led to one of Canada’s largest tech exits. Most recently, at Thomson Reuters, she led a global LegalTech division, building AI-powered tools to increase access to justice while protecting lawyers from burnout. Every role has deepened her calling: to use technology as a bridge toward a more equitable and compassionate world. Ideshini brings to the leadership table not only decades of cross-sector innovation and strategic foresight, but a heart that beats for people and places too often overlooked. A committed advocate for women in tech, she co-founded a women’s engineering leadership network in Toronto, mentors youth and immigrant innovators, and serves as a technical advisor to ethical AI initiatives.
