As CUI’s Research and Policy Analyst, Luthfi has been working with governments and organizations across the country on a wide range of policy issues, such as housing and local economic development. Before joining CUI, Luthfi worked for various public and private organizations on different policy areas, including climate policy, natural resources management, and international trade.
He has contributed opinion pieces to National Observer, The Vancouver Sun, The Hill Times, The Hamilton Spectator, and more. Luthfi holds a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia with a specialization in climate and energy policy, and a BA in Asian history and Canadian politics from Kwantlen University. He is based in Vancouver, BC.
In his spare time, Luthfi enjoys taking his cat for a walk to various public parks in Vancouver.
